Sentinel Model Rocket Full Size

This is the full size version of the sentinel rocket made by mech-G. I didn't do much beyond follow his instructions and use my slicer to up the size 125% of his design. The pieces fit really well together. I am gluing them together but the snap fit feels pretty sturdy as well.

BT-60 parts are SNUG! At least on my print. The other problem is that the lugs and connection pieces make it impossible to fit BT-60 things inside. For the discharge tube I had to put a pause in the print and then slide it in then continue the print. If I print this again I think I would up it to 126% of his original design.

I did create my own BT-60 - 24MM centering ring for the motor mount. It fits a standard Estes 24mm motor mount tube very well and slides in very well to the fin section. I believe the motor mount is the same as a BT-50 tube. You could probably make your own motor mount tube but I had one on hand so didn't print one.

I have not flown this yet but expect to in the next couple of weeks. i
