Sentry Eye

My first experimentation with a sculpting modeller that produced something at least somewhat functional. With no goal in mind this thing was what came from it. I've printed it in PLA and all the eye spikes did not survive, but little nubs remained. I'll post a picture of that print (was also scaled down) as soon as I can. I printed rotated so it sits on the flat side, and generated supports in Cura.

I can see the main body being rock or even organic maggot-like material, with the top a flat bone or plate like substance, that said I'd love to see and hear other ideas for it.

The model is arguably needlessly large in terms of file size. I'm not sure what the best fix for this is.
