I was inspired by this GREAT thing http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:257089 because I needed the Z axis mounts and I wanted them to all match. I like my kit assemblies to look clean and uncluttered as possible. ;=}
The upper Z axis mount probably could use some improvements so it could fit on the front center M3 screw hole instead of the side one like I have it. Also the upper Z axis mount is hard to screw on because of the position. I spent enough time messing with it for my tastes and it works. The lower Z Axis mount uses 5mm X 15mm screws (I tapped both ends of my Z axis rail :=} ). My screws are a bit long. It was all I had available at the moment.

This video shows that the stock version of Shapeoko 2 does TECHNICALLY function as advertised. However, it's very unreliable and can be downright dangerous. I had to go through 2 of those 1/4" thick sheets to get the small bracket above to cut properly. It's unreliable behavior
