My battle-hardened 2015 Shapeoko 3 (The Mighty #603) came with limit switches which were functional but required 3D Printed tabs to be affixed to the ends of the X and Y axis to operate properly. There are a few other options available on Thingiverse, but I wanted to go with a more minimalist approach. A full set of these mounts prints in about 2 hours.
All of the mounts require a single M5 screw and nut to affix, utilizing a 3D printed post in a second screw hole to prevent rotation.
Print one Z-Axis mount, an X-Axis mount and a mirrored version of the X-Axis (can be done in your favorite slicer, or there is a mirrored version in the Fusion 360 file), and 2 Y-Axis mounts. Mounting the Z-Axis mount will require you removing one of the silver spacers from the Z-Axis backplate.
I'm using standard micro switches with roller ends. It would take some minor tweaks to the spacing to use the non-roller variants (or you can just bend the switch arms out a bit), I have attached the F
