The use of a touch plate with any CNC machine is a must. However, the touch plate is used only when setting up the stock and the rooter height, after that it is no longer needed and it is in the way.
As such, and in the spirit of the End Stop Mount http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1244604 I made, I created a similar cover of the other end of the X axis to have banana plug sockets in order to remove the probe when no longer needed.
The socket for the holes is 7.5mm. There is also the PG7 cable gland at the top to let the wires out to the CNC board.
