Shaper Vice

This Vice is a new creation still figuring some things out. Works well at 7 thou depth of cut. Fits my Aamco 7" shaper I believe it may fit other models. The hole spacing for mounting is 1.25. I don't have anything threaded so holes will need to be tapped. Hole for main screw is 7/16 x 14 TPI. For main screw I used 7/16 x 14 TPI all thread and welded a washer on the end. Holes for vice jaws are ¼ x 20Holes for rear dovetail attachment are 5/16 x 18Moving dovetail is intended to be very tight. If needed carefully with a hacksaw cut a small pass on the inside corner of the moving dovetail piece. If it is still to tight gently sand the inside dovetail portions of the moving jaw. It will loosen a little after moving it back and forth some also. This is done so that the fit is tight and it holds work pieces well. Required to finish the project 7/16 x 14 tap5/16 x 18 tap¼ x 20 tap 7/16 x 14 all thread7/16 x 14 nut x 2 small washer to weld on the end of the all thread and a welder5/16
