Whipped up this bracket jig to use in a vise or a press. The holes are used to align and drill the plug weld spots and the rivet nut hole. The mounting holes are 5mm and the nut hole is 8mm. The model has a lip to align the sheet metal strip straight and the lip has notches to mark the cut offs. The jig is designed to take in a 20mm strip of 1mm sheet metal. Mild steel and aluminum works guaranteed. I used this to make replacement brackets for hanging exhaust muffler heat shields on the chassis of my car since the originals were rotted away. They came out nice and easy. Hope this helps someone else too. I recommend printing them solid with lots of wall layers.
