This is a thing to fix the - easy to break - UV Detector screw holders of a Äkta Start FPLC System (https://www.cytivalifesciences.com/en/us/shop/chromatography/chromatography-systems/akta-start-p-05773)
To assemble it, you should attach a spongy material to the front of the holder and then screw it on top of the old holder. This way, the UV Detector can be fixed if the holder broke.
