Shifter Barrel Assembly

A re-engineered shifter barrel from a Honda CBR600RR gearbox. The tracks that move the shift forks have been altered to change the sequence of gears from the standard 1-N-2-3-4-5 to N-1-2-3-4-5 facilitating automated gear changes. The cog and pinion are part of a novel position sensing system that was custom designed, built and racked in a formula style car.
