So, when My puppy bites off the ABS strap off my roadbike shoe SH-RP300-S (https://bike.shimano.com/en-US/product/apparel-accessories/shimano/SH-RP300.html)
I figured out that I did actually have quite a few options, besides buying a new one:
1. Take it off a cheaper used roadbike shoe ($0-$30?) off craigslist and stitch it over my almost new shoe.
2. Buy a much shorter sidi strap off ebay (https://www.ebay.com/p/SIDI-Replacement-Strap-for-Caliper-Buckle-Black/1700171060) $9.99 that may or may not fit ?
OR,
3. Simply copy the straps measurements from the other shoe, using FreeCAD design a new one and print it with ABS.
For someone who hadn't ever worked on a 3d printer or ever designed on a FreeCAD, let alone printing ABS on a non-heated bed, #3 for sure was a far fetched
yet a remote & an exotic idea.
But a week after getting my first 3d printer - Monoprice i3 [ https://www.ebay.com/itm/Monoprice-MP-i3-3D-Printer-Fully-Assembled-MicroSD-Sample-PLA-Ebay-Exclu
