Shock Absorber (Movable Spring)

A shock absorber, also known as a damper, is a mechanical or hydraulic device designed to absorb and dampen the shock impulses generated by the unevenness of the road surface when a vehicle is in motion. Its main purpose is to minimize the effects of vibrations, bumps, and other disturbances transmitted through the vehicle's suspension system. The primary function of a shock absorber is to control the motion of the suspension by dissipating the kinetic energy generated by the up-and-down movement of the vehicle's wheels. When a wheel encounters an obstacle or unevenness on the road, it moves upward, compressing the suspension spring. The shock absorber's role is to slow down and dampen this upward movement, allowing the wheel to return to its normal position in a controlled manner.
