Shooting Chrony F1 Diffuser

Diffusers for the Chrony F1 have a tendency to crack and yellow with age. This "thing" provides replacement diffuser sections that interface with the originals.

The posts for connecting the rods have been offset by a small angle to reduce flex and improve longevity. Consequently, it is best to print both ends.

A suitable diffuser resin formulation for this thickness can be made by mixing 1 part white resin with 3 parts clear.

I found it hard to print flat edges without distortion, medium weight supports and extra support at the ends are necessary. Printing vertically will take a long time. Fit can be adjusted by carefully enlarging the holes.
