Shopvac adapter with locking slots

I am working on a filter for the excaust of my shopvac. In this case the Ryobi R18WDV. This is the first part an allows you to add anything. Maybe an extension hose or something else. I have added 2 sizes, the snug fit (pictured) or a normal fit. The normal fit does have some clearance and leaks a bit of air. The snug fit doesn't but the locking slot doesn't work because its so tight. Prints with some support for the slots. PLA + works fine for me.
