This has a spot for a 5x2mm magnet to hold the bit in place. I really liked this design but the little tabs and the brim that held the bits in place with friction kept breaking. I’m using PLA, so that may be part of the issue, or my printer is just not tuned very well. (Edit: while tinkering with this and running multiple prints, I got my printer dialed in) Either way, below are the changes I made.
•Combined the tray and handle, so you don’t have to glue it
•Removed the little friction tabs
•Removed the overhang on the middle separator that holds the bits in place with friction
•Added some reinforcement at the base of the bit channel to help prevent bending/breaking
•Shaved some edge material off the end of the tray, I kept having to sand it down
•Added dots so you know which side is up, and to give you some grip
•Aded a “shelf” in the bit channel so the bits won’t immediately
