Thanks to grumpywalrus for the seed model, I improved a few things for printing out of tough PETG with FDM printer:
1) Two-part construction so it can be printed with practically zero supports. The original file when printed vertical has a locked support cylinder but I didn't want to turn it sideways a second time. The mesh holes on the bottom have small supports that can be poked-out easily.
2) The two-part design allows you to pull them apart to easily slide the hair off. Play with the fitment depending on your print settings to get the retention you like. Mine ended up perfect with a minor snug fit.
3) The original center tube mesh was very, very thin. Maybe resin print could make it but mine fell apart with FDM. Increased the thickness by several mm (also the bottom plug).
4) Deleted the fins under the top cap (they broke off when printing vertical). Instead I added 4 cylinders tapered nicely to distribute any stress. Yeah, I see the original fins were inten
