Shower Rod Riser Shims

Risers to support the ends of twist-tighten shower rods and prevent the curtain from hanging so low.

My shower rod is one of those twist-to-tighten ones that stays up by compression and friction. It recently fell down (and tore a chunk out of the wall surface) and I can't seem to get it to stay up anymore. I finally got tired of the end of the shower curtain bobbing in the water at my feet and decided to fix it.

Luckily, my tub has tall sides that stick out from the wall a bit and gave me a convenient shelf to utilize in my idea.
