A 3D-printed version for a Shure 565D (old version) microphone handle.
The original is in metal. This can be printed in black PETG, using concentric (100%) infill.
The threads are not modeled, but can fit nicely. Perhaps a little sanding is needed.
A little history from this make:
In fact, I got the parts from a 565SD (that a friend gave to me), which the handle was nearly destroyed by a shop that attempted to re-chrome it, in a way that the XLR connector was very loose and even the nuts did not fit on that anymore.
So I did a 565D (without that useless switch) from the remaining parts of that 565SD, by designing a new 3D-printed handle.
It worked, but as the material is plastic, there was some noise on the sound.
I guess it need to be painted internally with a conductive paint to fix this issue.
