After seeing the bucket of broken sidewalk chalk that my grandson had, I thought it would be a good idea to print a holder for the chalk. This is designed for the chalk that is approximately 1" diameter at the large end and about 4" long.
Print both the holder and the ring, slide the ring onto the holder, then put the chalk inside.
Slide out as much chalk as you like and then push the ring up to tighten it like a collet.
I designed it so there’s no need to add supports.
