Junction box designed to mount and house the machine-side of the connectors that lead to offboard drivers and controllers. I have designed it in this way so that cables can be repaired or removed, and the machine can be moved if it's necessary at some point. It's built with a belt drive and and 4 axis in mind, as well as an aux 12v power rail for lights (which isn't in this file, but space has been added with that intention, below and left of the power socket hole).
The ports on the side are designed to fit DB9 RS232 Female Breakout boards for the X/Y/Z/A axis, and a GX25 4 pin plug for running the power to the machine's motor. Sufficient space has been left to mount an SAE socket for that 12V rail. The holes for the axis input are undersized with the intention of being a compression fit for 3/8" plastic wire sheathing. The box mounts with 5/16"x18tpi 1.5" long hex cap screw which will need to be drilled and tapped into the machine's base casting, with the nubs printed on the box prev
