Sight Ring for Avalon Tec-X Scope

I wanted a sight ring for my compound scope. a couple of hours and three prints later I think I have a working version.

Print solid and in whatever bright colour you want (I have been asked for green, orange, white and yellow at my club on similar things I have done).

I used PLA so that the "barbs" were still a bit more flexible.

I used supports (essential) and also "supports only on build plate" to stop bits being left on the smooth inside surface of the ring since the barbs are quite a close tolerance to keep the ring tightly attached (otherwise it comes off when shooting - ask me how I know....).

My build plate is textured so the ring isn't completely flat on the visible ring surface which suits me as it catches the light quite well.

using a flat build plate or even one of the holographic pattern ones might also have interesting effects.
