One method of wax casting involves U shaped molds (frames) with glass clipped on either side forming the enclosure into which silicon is poured
You can purchase metal frames made for this purpose but then you are restricted in size and shape.
I know nothing about this but my other half is casting brass work via lost wax and I have a 3d printer :-)
Here are some bits and bobs my wife had me make.
* The cones are sized for wax injection (using a turkey baster I believe)
* My first few frame "U"s included the in built cones, but then I was asked to also print some cones on their own so they could be added in convenient locations on the original metal frame "U"'s. If you look at the onshape you will understand I crudely hacked them off a copy of the original design.
* The clips and stand will need to be adjusted for different thickness "U"s.
#### Onshape Web Files
The onshape files are set to public, so if you need a different size and shape; create an account, make a copy and go play
