“Dissecting boxes for the production of silks have been a commonplace in magic for many years. In general these have not been worthy of attention by the discriminating performer for two good reasons, the thickness of the pieces making up the box and the size of the space enclosed when they are put together. This wonder box is something else again. The lid opens and the front and back drop down. Held shown on the palm of the hand, the spectators can see right through the box and there does not appear to be any possibility of concealing even a pin. Yet immediately the box has been closed, the lid is lifted and a number of silks produced. The box can be shown empty at any time by letting the front and back fall, yet the production continues.
