Modeled for a Fanatec CSL Elite sim racing wheel.
The wheel does not come in contact with the wall.
I recommend applying cloth tape or something similar to where the wheel rests, so as to not scratch the plastics and to make for a smoother operation.
Personally, I use the "light" option but made a sturdier one as well so that others can feel at ease.
The mounting hole is oval because that happened to fit my application.
