This is a very simple dimmer you can build for German power socket. All the pieces I used for this project are shown in diagram. I built this for my soldering irons and it works very well.

I used 1.5mm copper wire, but you can scrap an old power cable and use it in your build.

You will need 12 M4x10 screws for ac sockets and enclosure itself. For AC Dimmer you can use its own screws.

Unless you don't have any part cooling fan on your printer cover part doesn't require supports. However main part requires support.

I added air vents on case part. But it still may be hot for PLA. I suggest you to print parts with PETG or something a bit more durable to heat than PLA.
