This is a small sport hovercraft that is simple to build and decently fast and agile.
Materials:
- 2x 1407 brushless motors
- 2x 15a brushless ESC
- 2x 3in prop
- 1x 9g servo
- 1x at least 2ch receiver
- 1x battery connector(I used an xt30)
- 1x 3s or 4s lipo about 1000mah
- 1x servo "Y" harness
- 1x plastic trash bag
- 1x velcro or other battery restraint
- misc soldering supplies
- epoxy, CA, or hot glue
Tools Required:
- soldering iron
- wire cutters
- wrench
- small screwdriver
- corresponding hex driver for motors
Building Instructions:
First, print out all pieces and remove any support. Next, glue the rear motor housing in place, it should be very secure. Also, screw in the motors. For the rear motor, route the wires down the hole in the back. For the front motor, zip tie the wires to the underside of the spoke pointing back. (the electronics will be on the bottom) Wire both ESC power leads in parallel going to the battery connector. Solder each
