After moving into our new unit we discovered our wooden chairs made a lot of noise against the polished tile flooring. The simple solution was to just purchase some Chair Glides to stick onto the bottom of the legs, but the right size was not available and alternatives that were close were selling for around $1.25 each! (We needed 32 of them).
So, the obvious solution was to 3D Print my own, which cost less than $2.00 in total.
This design is extremely simple and I am not publishing it here as being something of marvel. I am however publishing it more as a reminder to everyone that once again 3D Printers can be so useful when other options don't exist or are too expensive.
The 2 "dimples" in the design is to allow the Tacks to be centre-punched below the surface of the Glide.
Enjoy!
