A very simple 5.8GHz patch antenna.

I use it improve FPV receiver signal, and works great!

Maybe cooper plates will work a little better, but I just used tin can...

Inspiration from the Goof Proof antenna: https://www.rc-cam.com/gp_patch.htm

And the size calculations from: http://www.lap.ele.ita.br/microwave_tools.html

It is a LEFT HAND CIRCULARLY POLARIZED ANTENNA...

Must be matched with de TX antenna, I use an CloverLeaf with the same polarization.

If you need a Right Hand polarization, just flip the plates!

Glue the patch on the front cover, it is important to get the exact air gap.

TIPS TO ASSEMBLE:

- Glue the patch to the front cover...
- Pass the pigtail trhough the back cover and the ground plate..
- Solder de feed line to the patch...
- Glue the ground plane plate to the front cover...
- Solder the pigtail ground to the ground plate...
