The fact is all kinds of 3d printing even PLA make various sizes of particles down to 1nm. The world is years away from having longitudinal data about the effects of those particles, and if they are harmless or have synergistic effects with other printing matter or everyday life. Until we know more in 10-20 years, the best method of mitigating this is exhausting them. We can not filter what we don't understand, and we lose nothing having an ounce of preparation.
I designed this simple 4" dryer vent (3.8" actual or 96.5mm) for any enclosure.
This is a very simple design and uses 3m foam double stick tape to hold the porthole in the plexi. There is a cover piece for the front of the glass so you don't have to look at foam tape from the inside as well as a cap to cover the porthole if need be.
