My standing desk has over 10 holes going vertically on each side to allow setting up a desk on different height levels. Once set, only two holes on each side are used, other holes remain open with no real use. Just for fun and to put my headset on a side of the desk, I designed this simple hook.
The design is plug&play and relies on 25mm distance between the holes and 6.8mm holes size. The design consists of two parts: a base and an insert, so that they can be printed together with no support and less printing time as compared to a usual solid hook design of the same parts.
I used ABS like resin, so the hook can withhold heavy duty. My headset sits on it with ease.
As usually, please use FreeCAD to open Simple_Hook.FCStd and adjust the sizes in "s" spreadsheet to your specific use case. Please refer to https://wiki.freecadweb.org/Spreadsheet_Workbench
