Description:This Simple Seismometer mode is intended for STEM Education is a 3D-printable model designed for easy assembly, featuring only snap-in-place, 3D-printable components that don't require adhesives or complex tools. It provides a hands-on introduction to seismology, allowing to explore fundamental earthquake detection principles in a tangible way. Created as an entry for a 3D design contest, this model is my first self-made design, built with accessibility and practicality in mind. It encourages curiosity about earth sciences, physics, and engineering. Designed for learning purposes only, this model is not intended for real-world seismic measurement but serves as an engaging way to explore the basics of how seismometers work. Assembly Guide:Very straightforward & easy: Snap the “paper retainers” as well as one “paper roll retainer” to “tray”. Put the “extension arm” onto the “main rod”.
