Simple Tofu Press

Amazon has a similar looking tofu press for sale for 25 bucks. I couldn't justify spending that for 2 pieces of plastic and some bolts. This one costs about 7 dollars and has drain holes, which I believe helps to speed up the drying process. This will also fit in a standard 3 cup rectangular pyrex container, perfect if you want to press the tofu in the fridge overnight.

The bolts are carriage style 3/8 x 3.5 inches with matching wing nuts, stainless steel of course for food safety.

After printing I brushed a few coats of polyurethane on to seal any voids. For food safety, I would recommend NOT using abs. From what I've read, PLA is a much better alternative. It can't go into the dishwasher, but a few minutes in some bleach water takes care of any sanitation issues.
