single row connector mold

This is a mold designed for protecting the soldering of a pinhead connector, it gives a cheap and fast way to make elastic connectors with hot glue.

The mold must be printed in ABS or some other plastic with high melting point. After printing is a good idea to smooth the surfaces with acetone and is very important use oil to prevent the hot glue to stick to the mold.

To make the mold, a some pressure is needed while cooling, it takes about two, three minutes to cold down. After making the mold, the hole can be opened with a small drill bit to be reused.

There are two molds, for 4 and 5 contacts.
