Siphon Buddy

Ever want to keep that siphon going but needed your hands free for a minute? This is compatible with hose diameters of 1/2" (12.7mm) / 5/8" (16mm) / 3/4" (19.05mm) and the same tank wall thicknesses. I have two versions so far, one for a eurobrace tank and one for a rimmless tank. I am considering working on a rimmed version but I don't have a rimmed/braced tank so I'm without the necessary data at this time for that. I am printing this with PLA as it is dimensionally more accurate and stronger.

This part is tough and can take a beating. Respect the application and do not over tork the bolt when using it on your tank. It's only meant to hold it in place temporarily while you work, not be a permanent installation or withstand a hurricane or your 3 yr old. I use this on my own tank and a snug fit does the job fine and resists even casual bumping. The cross bar will prevent the hose from slipping off completely in the unlikely event it gets pulled out of the slot.
