This is a simple, print in place skinfold caliper designed to help estimate body fat percentage and is perfect for exercise physiology labs. Whether you're into fitness tracking, health monitoring, or just curious about body composition, this tool gives you a hands-on way to measure and estimate progress. To use this for the triceps, you will need to find the midpoint of the upper arm, which is half way between the acromion process (the pointy outer edge of the shoulder) and the elbow (with the arm bent to 90 degrees). This is typically measured on the side of the arm and then the measurement transferred to the back of the arm on the triceps. The skin is then pinched gently, about an inch wide, to separate the skin and fat from the muscle. The calipers are then used to measure the width of the skin and fat nearest to the triceps. These last two steps are typically done 3 times and then the measurements are averaged, helping to ensure an accurate measurement. Similar steps are taken
