Skull knife block

Hello there, A friend of mine that makes and sells hand-forged blades challenged me to print him a skull for a rustic knife set he was working on.Since I could not find such a model online ready to print I had to look around and adapt what was available.I decided to remix the model available here https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2683687, which in turn is a remix of the fantastic Makerbot original skull present here https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:622390Besides some minor tweaks, I added a base to make it stable and easier to print (require less supports that could break easily) and cut six 2x22mm rectangular holes to fit the knives. And here is the result.Printed it in PLA and my friend painted it beautifully with acrylics. I include profiles for 0.4 and 0.6 nozzles. I painted 'off' some supports to remove unnecessary ones and carefully applied variable layer height to get better detail where it is needed (mainly at the very top to avoid too much visible layers) without incr
