Note: New Print Profile!I have never had an issue printing the original print profile I created, but some people have had problems with the “swirl” breaking during prints, especially using silk filaments. I updated the print file (named “stronger supports”) that have helped some, but others still report problems. I have added yet another print profile. This has more extensive tree support, with thicker tree walls, and a better z-interface and z-height. I've also changed the strength to 3 walls--this will hopefully provide additional strength and support to that thin area around the swirl, so that it doesn't fall/break easily while printing. The new profile has smoother support interfaces, but be aware that, especially when dealing with yarn, anything with supports may require some post processing.
