These pieces tightly enclose the joint where the metal band meets the plastic segment, which broke entirely for me on one side and was beginning to crack on the other.

These WILL NOT work on their own, and require some sort of adhesive, fastening, or welding. I used JB Weld ClearWeld liberally between the joints as well as on the outside of them, then pressed the printed pieces together on top of it, then welded them together using a soldering iron. This produced an extremely strong result. If these ever break again, it will not be where the reinforcement was introduced.
