If you are using the Peak Design Standard Plate (https://www.peakdesign.com/collections/straps/products/standard-plate-v3) on you camera, you will realise, that it has no slide protection pins like other plates.

This item is to be placed between your Peak Design plate and your Rollei C5i ball head quick-release plate (https://www.rollei.de/en/collections/stativ-zubehor/products/kugelkopf-c5i-22764). You can secure ist with a little peace of double-sided adhesive tape.
