# 3D Printable bearing!
When you really need a bearing, this is probably not for you. Usually one wants a multitude of things from a bearing:
1. Low friction (That part works relatively well!)
2. The ability to take loads
2.1 Radial and
2.2 Axial
3. Longevity
4. No wiggle
Since it is printed, the ability to take axial loads will be limited even further then its ability to take radial loads. Further since the usual materials are not very hard or heat resistent it will probably not win any medal in longevity... And at last, since this is designed to print in place there has to be a relatively "large" tolerance which will result in not the tightest of runs.
So you probably wont want to use this bearing for real. But where you might use it, are those evenings when you find a nice printing project and are just missing a bearing to complete it immediately. ... after which you will probably replace it in the near future ...
To suite this need I provided the OpenScad file a
