**Note:** I highly recommend [Version 2 of this spool holder](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3152545) which corrects issues in the original design with very full spools.
A spool holder, sufficient for placing on a shelf. Many of these have been made before, but this one is mine.
The Fusion 360 archive `.f3d` is included, if you need to make any changes. **Two sizes are included** because it's common for 4" rods to be sold as supposed 100mm ones, but that's not the same size. Measure the rods you buy, and pick the appropriate fixed bracket.
# Parts Required
* 4x 688 bearing
* 2x 8x100mm smooth rod _or_ 2x 5/16x4" smooth rod
* 4x sticky feet (3M or similar)
**Note:** In the photos, you might see that the outer bracket deflects a bit; in the designs I've uploaded, that tolerance has been increased so they should not deflect.
# Assembly
* Insert the bearings into the pulley
* Insert rods through the sliding carriage and bearings which will hold the pulley in pl
