Many people have covers for their camera on their computer. However, most use a piece of paper or a sticky note to cover it. But every time they have to have their camera on, they have to remove and possibly replace the cover. My solution to this is to make a sliding camera cover. If you want the camera off, you slide the piece over the camera. If you want the camera on, simply slide the piece so it is not covering the camera.

To attach to your laptop, simply glue it, or cut a hole in double sided-tape, and connect them that way.

This is an easy and fast print. I included 2 files; one is the version 1, and the other is the version 2. Personally, I find the version 2 easier to attach to my laptop. However, you may find the version 1 more stylish. If you end up printing the version 1, I would recommend sanding the smaller piece, as it is harder to slide. In the second iteration, I made the smaller piece slightly smaller, so no sanding is required.
