πŸ™€πŸˆSliding Cat -Magnet-πŸˆπŸ™€ Level up your fridge game with this mischievous sliding cat magnet, designed for the Maker community. The model is available in two design variations to suit your workflow and aesthetic: Embedded Magnet Version: For a super clean, seamless look. This version features an internal pocket for a neodymium magnet (e.g., 10x2mm). It's designed for during-print insertion, requiring the use of a print pause feature in your slicer. Exposed Magnet Version: A simpler version designed with an external mounting point for a simpler post-print magnet placement. Detailed instructions for proper magnet alignment and insertion (including print pause steps for the embedded version) are included in the file package. Maker Tip: Support structures are highly recommended for a clean finish, especially on complex overhangs and to ensure the internal pocket's structural integrity. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- There are two versions of the print: one with a hidden magnet into the cat’s belly one with a visible magnet that is still recessed into the cat’s belly. I’ve included instructions on how to adapt your print to any magnets you may already have. I used 10x2mm neodymium magnets. ο»ΏRemember to add tolerances if you need to adjust the magnet dimensions; personally, I added 0.20mm to the X and Y axes and 0.50mm to the Z axis. I added more here to prevent the nozzle from hitting the magnet in the version with the magnet inside.
