Sliding Door Child Locks

DescriptionIf you’re a parent of a toddler, you know the constant struggle of finding yet another spot in the house your child can get into, even after you’ve already put locks on everything. After seeing how well my cabinet and drawer locks were received, I wanted to share another of my personal designs that we rely on at home. This particular model is for securing sliding closet doors and has been a game-changer in keeping our little one out of places he shouldn’t be. This version is the result of several tweaks, and after extensive real-life testing (courtesy of my child), it’s the most durable one I’ve made so far. If you find an improvement or print profile that works well, feel free to share. I printed it in ABS, though PLA might also work depending on your setup. If you need more strength, you can experiment with higher-strength resins like CF or GF.
