Unfortunately needed to design a sliding window lock for a parent with Alzheimer's.
However, it could be used as a child or security lock under certain circumstances.
Place along the window slide path to allow the window open to desired opening. Beveled edges discourage grabbing an edge for leverage or possible injury.
Design accommodates a 1.25" (31mm) wide window slider track\path.
NOTE: This design SHOULD NOT be used to lock a possible fire escape path as the screws require a tool and time to remove.
