It was just a fast throw together, but has been working well for me, so I thought I'd post it.
Only problem, I used parts laying around to help me build this. That being said, the ball bearings may not be a common size that would be around a 3d Printer's house.
Also only intended for 200mm by 65mm filament spools. Other versions will probably come to account for smaller 500gram spools.
4x 5mm id; 10mm od ball bearings -

With this in mind, printing a 5mm by 60mm cylinder could be a possible route.
*(I did not use the provided dowel in my print!)*
No support needed, if anything, would make the roller rough and not roll so well.
