Slingshot

My 8-year-old son, Miles, mentioned wanting a slingshot. I looked at a couple on Thingiverse but decided to design/customize one for him. "MILES" is pressed in on one side and an "M" in the same Bauhaus font is on the other side.

!!! This turned into an epic fail !!!
The first version with a rounded upper handle did not print the rounded part of the handle or the spiked detail in the arms. It all printed up to same level as that which the M sits on. It's functional but not as in the first stl image here. The side where the detail was, with the M, printed only a membrane of a final layer so I reinforced that with black nail polish and did some detail designs with metallic nail polish. The picture is of the failed print. The "2" stl is a quick fix I made to the file to get rid of the curved handle that was causing problems. I have not printed this but should be ok.
