Small Clear Tube

Small clear tube container for storing small parts.

FDM printers aren't well known for making optically clear prints, so this is a mixed-material design that uses 4Mil sheet plastic for the tube body. The sheets are expected to be cut with scissors.

The 3D model snaps together, capturing the sheet plastic through punched holes. The holes can be as small as 2mm, but a 1/8"/3mm punch is recommended. Punching holes is optional but leads to a stronger snap fit.

There are several different SVGs for various tube lengths. The lengths specified relate to the dimensions of the sheet (not to be confused with the final tube height).
