These are two small control horns I designed for Mini sized planes. Goal was to be as light as the default Flitetest balsa wood mini control horn, but also have better "stick" to the foam control surface. I added a small horizontal tab to the horn to provide a bit more surface area for the glue to adhere to as well as help with keeping the horn vertical. The hole for the control arm extends a bit further forward from the mounting point than the FT balsa horn, which may help with getting the hole positioned right over the hinge line without the horn itself getting into the bevel cut.
There are two versions: one with a normal mount that goes into the foam and the other with a beveled mount. I find that the bevel helps to mark the point of entry for the control horn when positioning and it also provides an edge that cuts into the foam and helps keep it tight in the foam.
Weight of each individual control horn is about 0.14 grams (cp. to ~0.18 g for the FT balsa wood horn).
