If using screws drill two small pilot holes 23mm apart I made this small french cleat to mount 15cm tiles on the wall, it could be used to hang larger things if you make sure it's in a stud. I've used PLA for mine and they're all holding up well after several months, but PETG would be a safer option for anything heavy\
