Small Funnel (65mm)

This is a simple small funnel. The 3D model is a solid manifold shape. To make the funnel, you need to specify in your slicer settings zero top and bottom layers. The sidewall thickness depends on your nozzle size and the number of perimeter walls you set. I recommend about a 1.2mm wall thickness for strength and a little flexibility. I printed with a 1.0mm nozzle which squishes out to 1.2mm. Always add 20% to your nozzle size to get the perimeter wall thickness when using Simplfy3D in "Auto" mode. This way I could print it with only 1 perimeter wall and also use "Spiral Vase Mode" to avoid any retraction marks.

I kept the layer height low 0.2mm even though I was using a fairly large nozzle. This thin of a layer height will give better layer adhesion for durability and reduce the layer line ridges. The smaller the steps (ridges), the less particles will stick to the funnel. You want it as smooth as possible. To further help with this, you might want to print a little hott
